Back to School – A Time for Canadians to Consider Food Security?

  • One out of six Canadian children lives in a food insecure household
  • Canada is the only G8 country without a national food strategy for schools
  • 4,000,000 Canadians suffer from food insecurity (ranging from not having enough to eat to having to skip meals or a day of eating)

‘Farmers’ Market Nutrition Coupon Program
