You probably know him and you’ve probably loved his tunes at the markets.
Now, Barry will be orchestrating the rhythms of the Farmers’ Market from a whole new perspective.
Barry is a longtime Farmers’ Market enthusiast and is passionate about the Farmers’ Market movement.
After years playing at the market and helping Artisan more closely with several tasks and events over the past year including managing the entertainer schedule over the season and helping put on the Flamenco Paella Party in August, Barry will be managing Artisan’s Winter Market at Lonsdale Quay.
In the spring, he’ll shift to managing the Ambleside Artisan Famers’ Market.
Oh, and don’t worry, he’ll still play music at the markets every once in a while 🙂
As Barry put it on his Facebook Page:
So now that it’s all been approved, I can tell everyone. I have been training to be a market manager. I still have stuff to learn but as of Nov 10th I am managing a winter market at Lonsdale for the Artisan Farmers Market. That runs until the end of April. Then May I will be running the Ambleside Market every Sunday. I will miss out on Sunday gigs but I have lots of ideas to make Sundays fun. So unfolds a new chapter in my life.
“Welcome aboard Barry! We are all looking forward to working with you.”
