This weekend, we have an awesome new vendor with delicious artisan meat pies for you to check out at the
Lonsdale and Ambleside Farmers’ Markets.
Try them by the slice or buy the frozen pies to bring home. Frozen, they are ready to bake, straight from the freezer to the oven. No thawing is required. How delicious is that? Gaia Kitchen’s pies are made from scratch with whole foods and carefully sourced from local BC farmers.
Chef Regina has a dual diploma in Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry Arts from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (PICA) and is a lifelong student of holistic wellness and health with training from Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York, USA. She believes in eating naturally with whole foods and using the best ingredients.
All their pies are made with her signature double crusted all butter flaky pastry and packed full with high quality BC protein and vegetables. This includes organic free roaming grass fed beef from Aurora View Farms, all natural RWA chicken from Heritage Farms and BC vegetables, whenever available. All natural, no lard, no shortening, no artificial flavouring, no preservatives and no fillers. Seasonal turkey cranberry and walnut pies may also be available. Soon they’ll be adding new pies, including vegetarian options.
